The purpose of family support is to help families have a fun and spiritually uplifting experience of the pageant as they invite others to come unto Christ. Volunteers will support Family Cast members by providing a safe, secure, fun and spiritually uplifting environment for the primary aged children when they are not required as part of the main rehearsals. Those who love to sing are invited to apply to be in the British Pageant Choir. Dressed in costume, choir members are onlookers to the stories that unfold on stage but they are not required to take part in much movement. Technical Support and Set Construction

Support from technical staff (lighting and sound), set constructors and painters will be essential in presenting the rich visual story of the Gospel in the British Isles. Costuming

Costumes are an essential part of telling the story of the early Saints. Costume volunteers will assist with designing, making, sewing, maintaining and repairing costumes. Time commitment onsite for the Costume Workshop roles is flexible from 24th July to the last day of the Pageant. However, as Core Cast costumes will need to be made before the Pageant begins, there will be a need for designing and making costumes during the months leading up to the Pageant. The Work Crew is made up of around a fifteen or so Young Men and Young Women (aged 16 – 18) and Young Single Adults who are willing to serve in  a physical capacity assisting with set construction, moving of scenery, lighting and sound and other general tasks. Car Park

We will need car parking attendants to help our visitors park safely and be directed to the local Pageant shuttle bus service and Pageant entrances. They will be required throughout the pageant performance periods from early afternoons (when there are matinees) and from late afternoon when there are evening performances. There will be a Country Fair before the pageant each night for guests to enjoy, and music from a Folk Band during this will set the tone for the evening, lifting the spirits of the arriving audiences.
